Encountering the Heart of Christ: An Ignatian Guided Retreat

In his most recent encyclical, Dilexit Nos (He Loved Us), Pope Francis writes: “The heart of
Christ, as the symbol of the deepest and most personal source of his love for us, is the very core of the initial preaching of the Gospel. It stands at the origin of our faith, as the wellspring that refreshes and enlivens our Christian beliefs.” These inspiring words will serve as the core of this Ignatian retreat with its invitation to encounter the heart of Jesus in the Scriptures and help us to embrace his loving presence in our everyday lives of prayer and service.
