Yoga, Pray, & Play Contemplation & Mindfulness
October 10~13, 2024

Join us for a time of contemplation and mindfulness practices. We will do gentle yoga, Centering Prayer and meditation, movement, explore prayer through the mind and the body, and allow what is want to emerge to be known to us. Practices of body awareness, a variety of simple mindfulness exercises, loving-kindness meditation, breathing techniques, guided imagery, and nature experiences will be offered. Participants can walk by the river, explore the grounds, walk the Labyrinth, sit on the many benches, or swing at the pavilion. Rest your mind, relax your body, and rejuvenate your soul with yoga, prayer, and contemplation. Periods of silence will offer participants an opportunity to reconnect to themselves and to Spirit. The yogic lifestyle involves living mindfully and holistically in every aspect of our lives. This retreat welcomes beginners as well as experienced yoga practitioners. Please wear loose comfortable clothing and bring a journal and a mat.

Nancy Plumer is a transformational teacher, trainer, and healer. Nancy is a certified Kripalu yoga teacher and a certified One Light Healing Touch Practitioner and Instructor. She has spent more than 30 years studying and exploring various holistic healing modalities, esoteric and shamanic practices, Eastern philosophies, yoga, meditation, compassionate communication (NVC), Somatic Experiencing and various organizational processes. Nancy maintains a private healing practice in Stone Ridge, NY, and is available to work with clients worldwide.

Autumn Sabbath Weekend

Gift yourself with some Sabbath Time in the autumn beauty of Linwood's spacious grounds. We welcome you into an atmosphere of contemplative silence with no fixed schedule. We will gather on Friday evening for an introduction and the rest of the time is yours! Eucharistic Liturgy will be part of the experience, as well as Linwood's library, Chapel, and labyrinth.   When canceling 30 days or more from the start of the program, you will be refunded, minus the deposit.
  
  When canceling fewer than 30 days from the start, you will not be eligible for a refund of payment, except for extenuating circumstances approved by Linwood Spiritual Center.
  
  Linwood reserves the right to cancel programs with insufficient registration. In those cases, you will receive a full refund.
